Known professionally as Harsh Singh, I’m an entrepreneur and computer science researcher working across Physical AI, intelligent mobility, and connected-vehicle security.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Building ETECHSTARS
As the founder of ETECHSTARS, I work at the meeting point of machine perception and practical transportation needs. My interest is in how intelligent systems interpret their surroundings and how research becomes technology people can use.
That connects several questions: what can a machine see, how reliably can it interpret a changing environment, and how should the systems around it be designed? My ventures and community work explore those questions through technology and education.
ACADEMIC FOUNDATION
Computer science at Michigan Tech
I earned an M.S. in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University in 2024. My master’s report investigated access control for the Internet of Vehicles using Proof of Elapsed Time, a consensus mechanism supported by trusted execution environments.
I also coauthored research on restoring compromised electronic control unit firmware in connected and autonomous vehicles. Together, these projects connect the security of vehicle networks with the resilience of the computing systems inside them.

Research is a shared effort
In 2024, I led a Michigan Tech team that placed third in the NIST challenge at the ASME IDETC-CIE hackathon. Michigan Tech’s account describes the teams and their work.
Global Detroit’s 2025 Global EIR outcomes report features me and ETECHSTARS in its entrepreneurial community. My interest in learning also extends to STEAM Worlds, which connects robotics, AI, research, and community education.
